Checking it twice

My mind is a fickle beast. I can remember useless trivia from my childhood, but am tied to my daily to-do lists for simple task management. It’s calming to know that everyone makes lists: even Thomas Edison. This list can be found in The Papers of Thomas A. Edison: Losses and Loyalties , published by The Johns Hopkins University Press. The digitized collection is held by Rutgers University. Thanks to  at Brainpickings for this great archival collection highlight!

  • Cotton picker
  • New standard phonograph
  • Hand turning phonograph
  • Deaf apparatus
  • Electrical piano
  • New expansion pyromagnetic dynamo
  • Artificial silk
  • Phonographic clock
  • Marine telegraphy
  • Chalk battery
  • Ink for blind

Sadly, my to-do lists focus around paying bills and banal chores. THIS is a list worthy of the Edison name!
