National Library Week is a national observance sponsored by the American Library Association (ALA) and libraries across the country each April. It is a time to celebrate the contributions of our nation’s libraries and librarians and to promote library use.
Sing it loud, sing it proud! Libraries provide not only free-of-charge research materials and computer access, but serve as community hubs for after-school programs, group gatherings, and external fundraising space. Your library is more than just a place for books, it a place for people, their ideas, and their histories!
Spread the word! Love your Library! Thank a Librarian for all the help they provide to you and your neighbors!
